Past Appearances

"I recently visited Grinnell School in Derry, New Hampshire and had a wonderful time! The teachers and students used the themes from My Bent Tree and The Inside Story for the entire week both before and after my presentation.  The My Bent Tree exhibit they made was in the hallway near the entrance and the whole school participated in a stamp contest in honor of The Inside Story. What a great honor this was for me.

Here is a lovely note I received from one of the teachers:

'We had a blast having you read and tell us all about publishing at our school! Thank you for taking the time to put your words into such fun and creative books! We really appreciate you coming!'
